Joyce–My mother told me of your Mother’s passing this afternoon. I am so glad my brothers and I were able to visit with her several times these past few years at Pioneer’s Ridge. She was a joy.

One time we were there talking to her, another man seemed very interested in our conversation. It turned out to be another neighbor–I think his name was Orville McCracken?

Thanks for coming to my mother’s 90th birthday celebration a year ago. It was great seeing you and Marjorie Anne.

So sorry for your loss, Joyce. Your mother is a great memory in my life, one of those being your mom’s cookies. Us Johannsen kids loved your mom’s cookies! Those days on Barker Avenue were the best.

With sympathy, yet with hope and peace, Rodney Johannsen

    Dear Joyce,

It was a privilege to be Edna’s back door neighbor for many years. We would trade apples and pears and sometimes pies, and she was always a treat to chat with, having so much to say.

We can say for sure that you did a great job helping her in her later years.

She will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on in our hearts and minds.

Peace and Love, Steve and Cheryl
