Russell William Nau

Prayer Service for Russell William Nau, 48, Lawrence will be held at 3:30 p.m., Monday, January 28, 2013 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.  Inurnment will follow in Lawrence.  He died January 24, 2013 at his home.

He was born November 11, 1964 in Chicago, IL the son of Leo Nau and Mary Kilker.

He worked at the St. Lawrence Catholic Center with the Building and Grounds and was a courier for Lawrence Memorial Hospital.  Earlier he worked at the Lawrence Journal World.  He was a member of St. Johns the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence.

He is survived by his parents, one sister, Laura Anderson, Lawrence; one brother, Thomas (Cindy) Nau, Lawrence; nieces and nephews, Patrick (Nicole) Anderson, Jennifer Anderson, Brianna Anderson, Jessica Nau, Christopher Nau, Katelyn Nau; two great nieces Ceara and Tara Anderson.

The family suggests memorials be sent to Russell W. Nau Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of the mortuary.

Entry: My condolences to the Nau Family. May you all find comfort during this painful time. To loose a loved one brings us great sorrow to our hearts. Please know that God cares and he promises to resurrect our dear loved ones sleeping in death John 5:28,29- those in their memorial tombs will hear the voice of his son Jesus and come out; Acts 24:15- there is going to be a resurrection of both righteous and unrighteous. They will be resurrected back to life on a paradise earth where death will be no more. Revelation 21:4- death will be no more; Isaiah 25:8-Jehovah God will swallow up death forever. Please find these scriptures comforting and draw close to God and he will draw close to you. James 4:8.
