Marion "Margaret" Grosdidier Mass of Christian Burial for Marion “Margaret” Grosdidier, 85, Eudora, will be held 10 am Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Eudora. Burial will follow at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Eudora. She died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at her home.
She was born on January 20, 1928 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Henry and Marion (Guerrant) Schieberl.
Margaret attended Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS.
She was a homemaker.
Margaret married Norbert M. Grosdidier on December 27, 1949 in Kansas City, KS. He survives of the home.
Survivors include her children, Mary(husband, Rick) Williams, Martha (husband, Walt), Mersmann, Barbara Hermreck, Patricia Grosdidier, all of Eudora, KS, Dolores (husband, Paul) Neis, of Mountain Home, AR, Paul Grosdidier of Lecompton, KS, David (wife, Karla) Grosdidier, Mark Grosdidier, both of Eudora, KS, James (wife, Debbie) Grosdidier of Topeka, KS, Luci (husband, John) Kennedy of Paola, KS, Ann (husband, Mark) Katzenmeier of Eudora, KS, 29 grandchildren; and 36 great grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2013 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel. A parish rosary will be recited at 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to Holy Family Youth Group or Grace Hospice and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
