Judy C. Harris-Welsh

Funeral service for Judy C. Harris-Welsh, 73, Eudora, KS will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Leavenworth National Cemetery. She passed away June 23, 2017 at her home.

Judy was born on September 24, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas the daughter of Forrest F. and Edrus M. (Fike) Smith.
She grew up in Merriam, Kansas. Judy was a bookkeeper in her working years. She loved to go to antique shops.

She married Richard Lee Harris in December 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death in September 2005. She later married Homer T. Welsh on March 14, 2008. He preceded her in death in October 2015.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Bob) Province; son, James T. (Debbie) Watkins; three grandchildren, Jereomy Taylor, Amber Watkins, Thomas Watkins and great-grandson, Jacob Watkins; one sister, Karen St John; two brothers, James Smith and George (Sherry) Smith; special friend, Bill Cummins; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service starting at 10:00 a.m. at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
