Graveside services for Anna Jo Sylvester, 91, Lawrence, KS will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence, KS. Anna passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 at her home.
Anna was born September 29, 1928 in Leavenworth County, Kansas, the daughter of Walter and Lela (Lobb) Shirk.
She married Allen Sylvester on January 14, 1950 in Leavenworth County, KS. He preceded her in death in 1986.
Survivors include her son, Jerry (Debbie Snyder) Sylvester, grandchildren; Christopher (Bethany) Sylvester, Tia (Raymond Holt) Garrison, great-grandchildren; Trinitie Garrison and Gannicus Garrison Holt.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, son, Timmy J. Sylvester and her 2 brothers.
The family will greet friends 6:00 ~ 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2019 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence, KS.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Midland Hospice or The American Cancer Society local chapter and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
