Funeral services for Benjamin Joshua “Josh” Johnson, 35, Lawrence will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2016 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. He passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 in Leavenworth.
Josh was born December 6, 1980 in Lawrence, KS, the son of Lee and Kimberly L. Johnson Hughes.
He was self-employed and a rock to family and friends. He was always ready to help in any way needed.
Survivors include his wife, Cassandra Loraine (Kennedy) Johnson; daughter, Ariyah “mush mush” Johnson; son, Xavier “bubs” Johnson; grandmother, Ruby Jones; two sisters, Shannan Johnson, Alia Hughes; one brother, Aaron Hughes; two aunts; three uncles; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16th at the mortuary.
