Betty Foglesong

A Memorial Service for BETTY LOU FOGLESONG, 58, Linwood, will be at 11 am,
Tuesday, August 4 , 2009 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary-Eudora Chapel.  Inurnment
will be in Eudora Cemetery.

Mrs. Foglesong died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She moved to Lawrence in 1988 and lived here until 3 years ago when she moved to Linwood, KS.

Betty Lou was born June 28, 1951 in Dexter, Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd Dean and Bethel Harper Whitecotton.

She worked as a receiving clerk at Walmart for twenty years.  She was a member of the
First Christian Church of Lawrence.

Betty Lou married David Foglesong in Omaha, Nebraska on December 14, 1968.
He survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Scott and wife Stephanie, Perry, KS and Steven and his wife Jenna, Olathe, KS; two sisters, Loy Dean Griffin and Carol Ann Hougham, both of Adel, Iowa; one brother, Alan Whitecotton, Stuart, Iowa; four grandchildren, Nate, Emily, Chris and Grant.

The family will greet friends on Monday, from 5 to 7 pm at Warren-McElwain Mortuary- Eudora Chapel.  Memorials in her name may be made to the American
Cancer Society and sent in care of the mortuary.
