Beverly Ann (Huggins) Moore

Funeral services for Beverly Ann (Huggins) Moore, 75, Independence, MO, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Beverly passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at The Groves in Independence, MO.

Beverly was born on July 15, 1949, in Dinuba, CA, the daughter of James “Cleo” and Maxie Aileen (Rankin) Huggins.

She married Hollis E. Moore on November 4, 1967, in Porterville, CA.  He preceded her in death on October 24, 2012.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Sue Sanchez; four grandchildren, Courtney Martin, Cody Sanchez, Caylee Brown (Sam), and Camryn Sanchez; two great grandchildren, Millie and Alicia; and brother, James “Jim” C. Huggins (Cindy).

Beverly accepted Jesus as her savior, as her shepherd on April 4 ^th , 1960 and has continued her faith towards Him ever since. He welcomed her home on October 1 ^st and she will rejoice with all of the family that has passed on.

Even though she was a spunky character, it was never doubted that she loved her family very much and them her. From random trips to Nebraska Furniture Mart, to lunches at her favorite places, she always felt loved and will be missed.

The family will greet friends from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday October 5, 2024, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
