Bobbie Ellen Moline

Services for Bobbie Ellen Moline, 86, Prosper, TX (formerly Lawrence) will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2025 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.  The family will greet friends from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the mortuary.  Burial will follow the service in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.  Bobbie passed away from cancer on March 20, 2025 at her home in Prosper, TX surrounded by her family.

Bobbie was born December 14, 1938 in Batesville, Arkansas the daughter of Acie Rubin and Viola Ellen (Allen) Cox.  She grew up in Arkansas before moving to Kansas, where she graduated high school in De Soto, and later settled in Lawrence.

Bobbie was an office manager for over twenty years for a local tax accountant.  Bobbie was a devoted member of Cornerstone Community Church and truly loved the Lord.  After her retirement, she found joy in volunteering, traveling, playing golf, spending time with family and friends, and good food (especially desserts).  Bobbie was quick to laugh and never missed the opportunity for a witty remark, even as her health declined.  She was a bright light to all those who knew her and will be deeply missed.

She married Johnnie Clark and he preceded her in death on January 21, 1999.  She later married Warren Moline on April 16, 2005 in Lawrence and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her siblings A.R., Mildred, Allen (“Gene”), and Jess.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Ellen (Roger) Yarbro, Prosper, TX, and her sons Terry (Kathe) Clark, McLouth, and Tony Clark, College Station, TX.  She is also survived by treasured grandchildren, cherished great-grandchildren, beloved nephews and nieces, and many dear friends.  She gave her love freely and we were all blessed to have known her.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Cornerstone Community Church and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
