Brenda Ann Belt Kirk

A Celebration of Life for Brenda A. Belt Kirk, 48, Lawrence will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17th at BridgePointe Community Church. She died Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Brenda was born June 4, 1967 in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was a Lawrence resident for 28 years and served the community through the Visiting Nurse Association.

She married Kelley Kirk and he survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Caitlin (Derek) Losson of Eudora; a son, Jesse Belt of Eudora; granddaughter, Annaliese Losson; a brother, Richard (Angela) Wheeler of Lexington, Kentucky; and her sister, Melissa (Tony) Lanham of Cottage Grove, Oregon; three nephews, Keegan Willey, Anthony and Garret Wheeler and a loving chocolate lab, Gracie.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Joseph, where she rescued her beloved Gracie, and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
