Bret Alan Timmons

Bret Alan Timmons, 56 of Topeka, KS. Bret passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka, KS.

He was born February 8, 1965, in Bellingham, WA, the son of Clifford Marvin and Frances Marie (Barrager) Timmons.

Bret graduated from Washburn Rural High School and from college at National Career College for Electrical.

He was preceded in death by his fiancé, Michelle Ruff, father, Clifford Marvin Timmons, brother Jeffery Dean Timmons, and the mother of his children, Lori Gravett.

Bret is survived by his mother, Frances Timmons, sisters, Lisa (Timmons) Bates, Christina (Timmons) Krauss, daughter, Racheal Timmons, and son, Robby Timmons.

Bret’s proudest living members are his grandchildren, Kaytin Ann Timmons, Teagen Daxter Marlar, Brayden William-Izaic Millbern, Aurora Alexandria Timmons, Owen Alistair Timmons, John, plus his nieces and nephews, Mariah Dawn Picabo, Cierra Michelle Aday, Myka Shawn Sky, great nephew, Fallon Don Fable.

Bret worked at Menards since 2019 as a maintenance scrubber part time. In his freed time, he enjoyed fishing, taking his grandkids swimming, watching tv shows blacklist, criminal minds, supernatural.

Growing up Bret was a Boy Scout Leader. He enjoyed helping his children build tree houses, walking in the trails, going fishing, camping, and exploring in the woods. He was a family man.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 4, 2022, at Restlawn Cemetery in Coffeyville, KS.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Racheal Timmons and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.

When Bret said his goodbye, it was “See you in the funny paper.”
