Brody James Parson

Graveside services for Brody James Parson, 2 years old, of Lawrence, will be held at 11 am, Monday, November 3, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lawrence, Kansas. (Meet at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, or meet us at the cemetery). Brody passed away October 30, 2014 at 12:51 AM Brody was born August. 9, 2012, in Overland Park, Kansas, to James Jay and Jennifer Dawn (Helm) Parson. Our Son was born with many disabilities but fought to overcome all of them. Brody was the strongest little boy around who had the strength of a 100 men. He overcame so many challenging obstacles in life, which made him our Super Brody. He will forever be in our hearts and will never forget how strong he truly is. Rest In Peace Sweet Baby Angel! He is survived by: his parents, three sisters; Hailey, Belladonna, and Gracie, grandparents; Brian and Susan Parson, and Glen and Carla Helm, his aunt and uncles; Karon and Mitch Baugher, Brianna Parson, and Quinn Parson. So many people loved Brody we give a special shout out to Trish our son’s nurse. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm, Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Flowers and plants may be sent to Warren-McElwain Mortuary (we want to make it beautiful for Brody, says mom!) or memorial contributions may be made in Brody Parson’s name to United Cerebral Palsy and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
