Carolyn Louise Greer

Funeral service for Carolyn Louise Greer, 70, Lawrence will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. She died February 14, 2015 at Eudora Medicalodges.

Carolyn was born on December 21, 1944 in Lawrence, KS the daughter of Carl Everett and Thelma Louise (Erwin) Strong.

She was a Housekeeper in the dorm rooms for the University of Kansas and worked as a secretary for Trinity Lutheran Church. Carolyn was a member of the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Lawrence Civic Choir and the College Church of the Nazarene in Olathe.

Survivors include her mother, Thelma Strong, Lawrence; two sons, Paul Greer and wife, Shannon, Lawrence, Brett Greer and wife, Tracy, Olathe; sister, Roberta Traul, Lawrence; six grandchildren, Bailey, Ryan, Shelby, Hannah, Caleb and Sydney.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Capper Foundation in Topeka and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
