Graveside services for Catherine Wolf, 91, Kansas City, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2019 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence, KS. She passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Northcare Hospice House in KC, MO.
Catherine was born on March 19, 1927 in Dundarrach, North Carolina, the daughter of Alexander Baxter and Maria (Butler) McMillan. .
She was a Secretary for the KU Basketball Office
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Frank Gurtler and Art Wolf, parents, and grandson, Derrick Turvey.
Survivors include her daughter, Jean (Mike) Turvey, two grandsons, Kevin and Chris Turvey.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign next Christmas or Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
