Charles William Alexander Jr.

Memorial services for Charles W. Alexander, 67, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26 ^th , 2019, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Charles passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

Charles was born October 26 ^th , 1952 in Mt. Kisco, New York, the son of Charles W. Alexander, Sr. and Anne Keeshan.

Other survivors include sisters, Channette Alexander and Wendy Burkett, brother Chris Alexander. Caregivers Kalon and Charlene Sales.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Community Living Opportunities (CLO).

Charles was a fun loving guy who knew no stranger. His love for food was what connected him to many people. After meeting Charles, a conversation about food was most likely going to occur. Charles loved to clean, go on many walks, and check the mail daily. Charles also volunteered & shopped for a local food pantry every week. He loved attending church in Topeka, especially during communion. Charles touched a lot of people’s hearts with his personality and those deep blue eyes. He is going to be missed by his extended family and friends. Charles had a huge impact on the Sales family and he will forever be in our memory.
