Memorial service for Charlotte Ch’iu-Fang Bedford, 89, Lawrence are pending. Inurnment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lawrence. She died March 25, 2016 at Brandon Woods.
She was born on October 23, 1926 in Tianjin, China the daughter of Bi-Chen and Bo-Ying (Wang) Wan.
She was employed as a Librarian at the United Nations Library in New York and retired in October 1986.
Survivors include her nephew, Qiwu Liu and wife, Zhuye Jin, Lawrence; nephew Qixun Liu, China; and niece Lucy Qi-liang Dougherty, Canton, MI.
Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
