Chester Lawrence Wilks

Chester Lawrence Wilks, 77, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at the LMH Health in Lawrence, Kansas.

Mr. Wilks was born February 9,1943 in Kansas City, Missouri to Dayton and Ruth (Jackson) Wilks.

He was one of nine children.

He was married to Elizabeth Wilks for 40 years, she preceded him in death.

Chester is survived by his sisters: Carol Schelske of Auburn, CA, Linda Peabody of Antelope, CA, Christine Semays of Las Vegas, NV and Rita Larson of Bakersfield, CA. His children; Marsha Ricketts of Muscotah, Kansas and Joelen Ricketts of Meriden, Kansas and his grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, nephews and four step-children, Bobby McCann, Ruth Ann McCann, Alfred McCann and Alvin McCann. He was preceded in death by his parents Dayton and Ruth; four brothers: Rex Wilks, Don Wilks, Jack Wilks, Pete Wilks, and two nephews Erick Schelske and Jay Fausnaught.
