C.R. “Roy” Sipes, 82, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at his daughter’s home in Lawrence, Kansas. A private service will be held on Sunday, March 15.
Mr. Sipes was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 27, 1932 and spent most of his childhood in Franklinton, Louisiana.
He served his country in the Korean War and retired from AT&T in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mr. Sipes was preceded in death by his parents, David A. Sipes and Rebecca Louellen Cooper. He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Pierrelee and her husband Robert, his son David Wayne Sipes of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and his grandchildren Jack, Alex, Sarah Pierrelee and Jeremy, Jessica, Melissa, and David Jordan Sipes.
