Family services for Claude L. Saunders, 61, Eudora will be held at a later date in Jefferson City, MO. Claude passed away June 21, 2025, at his home in Eudora.

Claude was born on September 16, 1963, in Jefferson City, Missouri the son of James Leroy and Rosetta B. (Finn) Saunders.

He graduated from Eudora High School. He worked for Hercules and for Merck Lab, as a lab technician.

He loved aircrafts, collected coins and enjoyed history, especially on General Custer. He was an avid Elvis fan and went to Graceland multiple times.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Barbara, Mayme, Mary; three brothers, William, Dwayne and James.

He is survived by his siblings, Robert Brown, Sharon Borton and Dorothy Grizzle and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary 120 W. 13th St. Lawrence, KS 66044.
