A Graveside service for Constance Lorene Milleret, 87, Linwood, will be held 10 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2008 in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence.  Mrs. Milleret died on May 5, 2009 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born on March 29, 1922 in Tonganoxie, KS the daughter of John and Lulu Boles North.

Constance was a 1941 graduate of Liberty Memorial High School. She then graduated from Lawrence Business College.  She worked at Sunflower Army Ordinance Plant in DeSoto as a mail carrier during the war.  After the war, she worked in the Douglas County Treasurer’s office.  Later, she married and was a Dairy Farmer from which she retired.

She married Henry J. in November 1947 in Lawrence.  He preceded her in death in 1983.

Survivors include one son, Dennis, and wife, Carolyn, Lawrence, two granddaughters, Pamela and Leanne, both of Lawrence; one twin brother, Conrad, Utah; one sister, Audrey Hummelegaard, Lawrence.  She was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice and sent in care of the mortuary.

The family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
