Daniel Leon Slifer

Visitation for Daniel Leon Slifer, 55, Lawrence, will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. ~ 4:00 p.m. at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Please be aware that due to COVID-19 and safety precautions, we are asking his loved ones to please respect and comply with social distancing and must wear a mask. Daniel passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at his home.

Daniel was born on April 4, 1965 in Lawrence, Kansas, the son of Larry and Rebecca (Light) Slifer.

Survivors include his children; Ora (Bruce Holloway) Hadl, Ellen (Jamaine Williams) Rothwell, Tones Copp, Daniel (Jessica) Slifer, Cody Slifer, siblings; Henry Slifer, Skyler Slifer, Janetta Dickerson, Larie Slifer, Shana Slifer, grandchildren; Bruce Holloway Jr., Brianna Holloway, Taylor Hadl, Casey Brown, Jason Noll, Jaden Noll, and Charlie Noll.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
