Daryle Hadley Busch

There will be a visitation for Daryle Hadley Busch, 93, from Lawrence, Kansas, from 2:00 ~ 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service – Northwest, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio, 43221. A funeral service for Daryle will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 24, 2021 at Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service – Northwest. The service will be available online at www.schoedinger.com. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio with Military Honors. Daryle passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Neuvant House of Lawrence.

Daryle was born on March 30, 1928 in Carterville, Illinois, the son of Dwight Hayes and Ione (Bauman) Busch.

He was a Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the Ohio State University from 1954 ~ 1988, and the University of Kansas from 1988 ~ 2016.

He married Geraldine Barnes on March 11, 1951 in Herrin, Illinois. She survives the home.

Other survivors include his children, Michael C. Busch, Steven J. (Becky) Busch, Cheryl A. (John) Rome, Kristina M. (Eric) Rodriguez, eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Daryle was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight and Ione, son, Derek H., and sister, Robbye Joanna.
