Deanna Dremler

Memorial service for Deanna Lynn (Kautz) Dremler, 50, Queen Creek Arizona will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.  She died May 15, 2010 at her home in Arizona.  Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Atchison, Kansas.

She was born on November 12, 1959 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of John Paul and June (Handke) Kautz.

Deanna previously worked for UPS in Lenexa, KS and then was a homemaker.

She married Douglas Polzin in Lawrence on January 29, 1977.  They later divorced and he preceded her in death on June 17, 2003.  She than married Ray Dremler in Phoenix, Arizona on October 16, 1987 he survives of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Dana Grammer, and husband, Andy, Devon Polzin, all of Lawrence; two sisters, Deborah Hammond, Marietta, GA, Kimberly Howard, Lawrence; 5 grandchildren, Annie Grammer, J.D. Grammer, Allie Grammer, Tyson Grammer and Shawn Elmer, all of Lawrence.  She was preceded in death by her parents and Nephew, Eban Farley, III.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
