Dorothy was born on March 26, 1930, in Clyde, KS, the daughter of Sennie and Annaise (Sorrel) Racette.

She worked in accounts receivable for Ingett & Stubbs Electrical Construction Company until she retired in 2003.

She was a member of Family Motor Coach, Good Sam’s Club and AARP.

She married Harlan L. Miller on November 13, 2002, in Lawrence.  He survives at the home.

Other survivors include her daughters, Doreen (Bradley) Milano, Nicolette (Monte) Tavares, stepdaughter, Diane Miller, stepson, Warren Miller, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bernard Racette, and sister, Bernice Hubert.
