Funeral Services for Elliott Willis Pulliam, 64, Oklahoma, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2009, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence and burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Pulliam died July 15, 2009, at his home.
He was born December 9, 1943, in Lawton, Oklahoma, the son of Tom and Louisa (Bacon) Pulliam.
Mr. Pulliam received his Associates Degree from Haskell Indian Nations University. He served during the Vietnam Conflict. He was an electrician at Haskell. He received various certificates for his work and activities. Mr. Pulliam was a member of the Haskell Veterans Club, the American Legion, Lexington, OK, and was a member of the Chickasaw Nation.
He married Etta Mae Pulliam on March 18, 1971. She preceded him in death in April 2006.
Survivors include two sons, Matthew, Lawrence, and Jewett Michael Jimboy, Lawrence; a sister, Patricia, Bethany, OK; and twelve grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Haskell Veterans Club and sent in care of the mortuary.
