Frances Marie Timmons

Frances Marie Barrager Timmons 1940-2025

Frances Timmons passes away at the age of 84 on June 20th 2025, she was born to Charles Leo Barrager and Elanor Grace Thompson Barrager on a farm north-west of Liberty, Kansas. Frances attended Independence Community College where she met the love of her life Clifford Marvin Timmons, they were married in 1961 and enjoyed several happy years of marriage where they were blessed with four beautiful children. Frances lived a happy and fulfilled life full of adventures as a Navy wife. She had an enormous heart with love to spare, her door was open to all and she touched the lives of many.

Frances is survived by her two daughters Lisa Bates and Christina Krauss, her grandchildren Racheal and Robby Timmons, Mariah, Cierra and Myka Krauss, and Her great grandchildren Katlyn Timmons, Teagan Marlar, Brayden Millbern, Aurora and Owen Timmons, and Fallon Krauss. Brother; Earl Barrager. Also blessed with an additional 17 grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Frances is proceeded in death by her parents: Charles and Elanor, Husband: Clifford, and two sons: Bret and Jeffery Timmons.

Celebrate her life with us on July 2nd at Warren-McElwain Mortuary; 120 W 13th St. Lawrence, Kansas. The service will be held at 10am followed by a 3pm burial at Restlawn Memorial Park; 2000 Woodland Ave. Coffeyville, Kansas. 

Donations in Frances’ name many be made to Cancer Society of America and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
