Gary Roit

There are no formal services planned for Gary F. Roit, 75, Lawrence. Gary passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at his home.

Gary was born October 13, 1944 in Meriden, KS, the son of Frank and Virginia (Neiberger) Roit.

He was a self-employed carpenter and woodworker. He was a Country Boy and stubborn as hell.

He was preceded in death by his life-long love, Shirley McCawley.

Survivors include his two sisters, Sharon Roit, Perry, KS, Kathy Roit, Atchison, KS; two brothers, Frankie Roit, McLouth, KS, Larry Roit, Georgia; daughter Shannan McCawley, Chane; nine grandchildren, Dominicke, Damitrious, Kristine, Richia, Destini, Sarah, Marquise, Mariah Nicole and Monique; five great grandchildren; and all of their friends at 23 ^rd Sonic.
