Gene Andrew Holiwell, 86, of Lawrence, KS, passed away November 25, 2014.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am – 11:00 am, Thursday, December 4, 2014, at Trinity Episcopal Church 1011 Vermont St., Lawrence, KS 66044, with services following.
Gene was born July 24, 1928 in Wewoka, Oklahoma the son of the late Wakes Holiwell and Lena Holiwell-Wilson.
He is survived by his children Jean, Bradford and Joy Holiwell; grandsons, Jason and Daniel Nelson and Angelo Celli; sisters Naomi Glenn and Bertha Mae Johnson.
Interment will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Rd. Leavenworth, KS 66048.
