Gregory "Greg" D. Haehl

There are no formal services scheduled at this time for Gregory “Greg” D. Haehl, 70, Lawrence, KS. Greg passed away October 28, 2025, at his residence in Lawrence.

Greg was born February 10, 1955, in Denver, CO, the son of Chez and Gretchen (Fosket) Haehl.

A hardworking and thoughtful man, Greg approached life with quiet strength and dedication. He found joy in simple pleasures — tending to his garden, cooking delicious meals, and getting lost in a good book. His deep love for animals and his charitable nature touched many lives.

Above all, Greg cherished his family. He loved his son, Nick, with all his heart, and shared a special bond with his loyal dogs, Dot and Blank, who were constant companions by his side.

Those who knew Greg will remember his warmth, his wisdom, and his willingness to help others. His legacy of compassion and integrity will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Survivors include his son, Nick (Whitney) Haehl, and brother, Stan (Betsy) Haehl.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Christa Haehl, and brother, Earl Heahl.
