Harriett Spencer

Services for Harriett Jo Spencer, 64, Lawrence will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, June 13, 2010 at the Jazzhaus.  Mrs. Spencer died May 21 at her home.

She was born on July 25, 1946 in Clay Center, Kansas the daughter of Stanley Hanson, and Betty Mae Hughes Hanson.

She married Buzz Fisher on June 14, 1969.  They later divorced in 1974.  She then married William Henry “Bill” Spencer in 1980 on her family farm in Clay Center.  He preceded her in death on May 14, 2001.

Harriett  was an artist.  She enjoyed dancing and listening to music, making jewelry and racing.
