Funeral services for Heather Marie French, 36, Lawrence, KS, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. A burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Heather passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at her home.
Heather was born on June 18, 1988, in Lawrence, KS, the daughter of Earl Ray Pfeffer and Tina Rae French.
Survivors include her mother, Tina (Trinidad Hernandez-Torres) French, son, Tyrese Earl Thomas, daughter, Rosalyna Rae Johnson, sisters, Cassie (Trayvon Guesby) French, Adrianna Maria Hernandez-Torres, grandmother, Carol French, aunt, Thelma French-Gomez, uncles, Delbert French II, Leslie French, extended aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
Heather was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Joshua Skaggs, Father, Earl Pfeffer, grandmother, Myrtle, and grandfather, Delbert Ray French.
The family will greet friends, from 6:00 ~ 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
Memorial contributions may be made in Heather’s name to The Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
