Helen Elizabeth Gramly (Beth) passed away peacefully at the age of 88.

She was born in Wichita, Kansas, in 1937 and later raised her family in Overland Park, Kansas.

She shared more than 50 years of marriage with her husband before his passing. Together they raised two children, David and Laura Gramly.

A lifelong learner, she earned a degree in Human Resources and was honored as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She successfully managed apartment properties and became an early pioneer in the field of mediation, advocating for constructive dialogue and peaceful resolution of conflict.

She also devoted time to helping others through her volunteer work with Women’s Vision, an international organization that provides small business loans to women entrepreneurs in Africa.

A talented artist, she found joy in creativity and expression throughout her life. She was known for her warmth and her easy laugh, and she had a gift for being open and easy to talk to.

Her outlook on life was captured in a phrase she often shared: “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”

She is survived by her children, David and Laura Gramly and their spouses Marlene and Wade along with her grandkids Adriana, Layla, Hanna and Spencer along with her sister Carol and her beloved cat Scamp and the many friends and family members whose lives she touched.
