Janice Endacott

Graveside service for Janice M. Endacott, 73, Lawrence, will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2009, at Stoney Point Cemetery.  She died September 28, 2009, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Janice was born July 17, 1936, in Lawrence, KS, the daughter of Irvin D. and Emily L. (Lescher) Holmquist.

She was a homemaker.  From 1971 until 1981, Janice was a co-owner of Captain Clean.  Janice retired from the University of Kansas in 1988.

Janice married Phillip L. Endacott on October 9, 1959, in Lawrence, Kansas.  He survives of the home.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Other survivors include two sons, Paul and Lance, both of Lawrence; a brother, John Bright, Lansing, MI; three sisters, Brenda Bright, Topeka, KS, Barbara Klingberg, Oskaloosa, KS, Francis Snell, Oskaloosa, KS; and one grandson, Matthew.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Stoney Point Cemetery Association or Diabetes Association and sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
