Funeral services for Joeanna Burchett, 87, Eudora, KS will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2021, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Eudora. Burial will follow at Eudora City Cemetery in Eudora, KS. Joeanna passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Homestead Assisted Living & Memory Care in Eudora, KS.
Joeanna was born on May 6, 1934, in Osawatomie, KS, the daughter of Jess and Delvina (Bates) Evans.
She was a Line Supervisor for E & E Specialties of Lawrence, KS.
She married Dennis Burchett on February 25, 1955, in Osawatomie, KS. He preceded her in death on October 20, 2010.
Survivors include her children; David Lee Burchett, Debra Jo Carden, Katherine Jean Rose, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchild.
Joeanna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dennis Burchett, and son, Randall Scott Burchett.
A visitation is scheduled for 6:00 ~ 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Eudora.
Memorial contributions may be made in Joeanna’s name to the charity of choice and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
