Judy L. Allwood

Memorial services for Judy L. Allwood, 75, Kansas City, MO, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 10 – 11 a.m.   Judy passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at her home.

Judy was born on June 16, 1947, in Lawrence, KS, the daughter of Ralph and Opal (Dexter) Rake.

She was a Registered Nurse at North Kansas City Hospital for almost 40 years.

She married Merle Allwood on August 22, 2003.  He survives at home.

Other survivors include her son, Tim Blakley, sisters, Leota Wroten, and Linda Burns.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Don Rake.

The family suggests memorials in Judy’s name to the Wayside Waifs or The American Heart Association and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13 ^th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
