June Wilson

Funeral services for June M. Wilson, age 90 (more or less), will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Tuckerton United Methodist Church in Tuckerton, NJ.  Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Tuckerton.

She died on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Brandon Woods at Alvamar in Lawrence, KS.  She and her husband have lived in Lawrence just a few days before her death.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of Altie & Minnie McEnerney Parsons.

For several years, she was the secretary of the Water Department in Tuckerton.  In her later years, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Tuckerton United Methodist Church and served on the Board there.

She was married to Ross A. Wilson in November 1940 in Buffalo, NY. He survives of the home in Lawrence.

Other survivors include her son, Jack Wilson and his wife Kathryn, of Lawrence.

The family will greet friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Wood Funeral Home in Tuckerton, NJ.

The family suggests memorials in her name to the American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
