A Funeral Service for Justin Taylor Caton, 25, of Knob Noster, MO, is set for 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Eudora Baptist Church, 525 W 20th Street, Eudora, KS, 66025 with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM. Justin passed on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Boone Health in Columbia, MO.

Justin was born on August 17, 2000, in Kansas City, KS, the son of Kyle and Cassandra (Davidson) Caton. Justin was successful in the renewable natural gas industry since the age of 17. He began his career alongside his father which led him to travel around the midwest where he made many friends along the way. Justin spent his time outside of work caring for his beloved dog, Scout, hunting and fishing with his Dad, Kyle, gaming online with his best friend, Xzavier, and above all loving his family. Justin’s big bear hugs, polite mannerisms, and goofy sense of humor will be greatly missed.

He will be dearly missed by his parents, sister, Shelby Bates and brother in law, Cameron Bates, Nephew, Waylon Bates of Blue Springs, MO, paternal grandmother, Marlene Caton of Kansas City, KS, maternal grandfather, Dale Davidson, maternal great uncle, Kenneth E. Davidson of Kansas City, KS, aunts & uncles, Kristin (Jeremy) Willis, of Kansas City, KS, Chad (Jennifer) Davidson of Hoyt, KS, and Stephanie (Jason) Frank of Wichita, KS. Cousins, Cheyenne (Sean) Swayze, Angel (Dakota) Zukel, Marvin Zukel, Annalise (Brady) Stroble, Logan Willis, Emmalee Davidson, Jesus Zavala, and Mariah Zavala.

Justin was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Caton of Kansas City, KS and maternal great aunt, Mary Davidson of Kansas City, KS.

Memorial contributions in Justin’s name may be given to Eudora Baptist Church in Eudora, KS, (525 W 20th Street, Eudora, KS 66025) and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
