Funeral services for Kendall Royce Stiffler, 21, Lawrence, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel in Eudora, KS. Burial will follow at Eudora Cemetery. Kendall passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at LMH Health.
Kendall was born December 30, 1999 and went to be with the Lord Wednesday April 21, 2021.
He was born in Las Vegas on December 30, 1999 where he lived until just before turning five. There he loved riding horses and participated in several gymkhanas. After that he moved with his parents to eastern Kansas where he resided until his death. He grew up in Lawrence attending Deerfield Elementary, followed by Central and West Middle Schools and graduating from Lawrence Freestate High School in 2018. In his youth, he enjoyed creating elaborate Lego creations, riding bikes and building forts. In middle and high school he found a love of wrestling, riding skateboards, and playing viola in orchestra. He wrestled for Central and West Middle Schools, Freestate High School and was a member of Lawrence Elite Wrestling Club. In addition to school orchestra, he additionally participated for a short time in Lawrence Youth Symphony. As a young adult he became fond of live music and going to concerts with his friends and long-time girlfriend.
Kendall had an amazing heart and always showed incredible compassion for others. Though his life was cut short, he was able to save lives through the ultimate gift of organ donation. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend.
He is survived by his mother, Ashli Gill and step father, David “Joe” Gill, Perry; sister, Josi Gill, of the home; Maternal grandparents, Bobbi & Tom Scott, Lecompton, Steve & Stella Flock, Gasquet, CA; paternal grandparents, Royce & Delores Stiffler, Eudora; Aunts & Uncles, Michelle Miller, Lenexa, Robert Flock (Betsy), Crescent City , CA; Jared Hightower (Deanna) Las Vegas, Nevada; girlfriend, Chloe Colby. He was preceded in death by his father, Travis Stiffler on July 21, 2006 and by his aunt, Kelli Jo Mizell.
The family will greet friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Monday, April, 26, 2021 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary-Eudora Chapel.
