Funeral Services are set for Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with a visitation the afternoon prior on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Warren-McElwain Mortuary-Eudora Chapel, 1003 John L. Williams Dr., Eudora, KS 66025.

Killian was born on January 10, 2004, in Lawrence, Kansas to Rodney and Lisa (Dankenbring) Galindo, and was three days old before he had a proper name. His mother called him Bubby one day, and it or “Bub” stuck as a nickname. He worked in the restaurant industry due to his passion for all things culinary, where he met a lot of his long-time friends. Green was his all-time favorite color. He loved music of all kinds, including Mac Miller, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, and a surprising amount of punk, rock, and silly music his parents listened to when they were young. He often quoted funny lines from his favorite TV shows and movies that went over most people’s heads, and did his best to make everyone laugh. Killian had an eclectic style all his own, always pushing the boundaries of fashion, and didn’t care what anyone thought of it. He immersed himself in games of all kinds, from “ancient” Nintendo to the newest online MMORPGs, as well as countless board games and tabletop games with his family. He absolutely loved exploring new foods from all over the world, and finding awesome new restaurants, especially ice cream parlors, throwing caution and lactose intolerance to the wind. He experienced almost every amusement park, museum, and fun attraction Kansas City had to offer, but he also went on several road trips with his parents and siblings. He saw Johnny Cash’s childhood home, Graceland, the Gateway Arch, a rocket launch at Cape Canaveral close-up, and in Colorado Springs, he stood on Pike’s Peak, explored the Garden of the Gods, the Cave of the Winds, and even walked with wolves. He thoroughly enjoyed visiting the German cities of Köln, Dresden, Berlin, and Bremerhaven, where his sister and niece live. He surely would have traveled to a thousand more amazing places and would have had a thousand more amazing adventures. But no matter how far away or how old he got, he was always his dad’s little Padawan, and his mom’s little Bub Bub. She always made sure he knew she loved him more than all the chocolate chip cookies in the world.

Survivors include his parents, brother Neo, sisters Aryanna and Arielle, his niece Emilia, grandfather Mitchell Galindo, and many, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceding Killian in death are his maternal grandparents Harlan and Bonnie Dankenbring, his paternal grandmother Violet Galindo, and his uncle James Dankenbring.

Killian had a tender heart. He had a built-in desire to help people out, with little things or big things. If you want to make a contribution to a cause, go out of your way to help out your fellow humans when you see them needing it. Even if it’s just a smile or a compliment. It makes a difference.
