Private memorial services for Larry Jon Stevenson, 64, Oskaloosa, KS, will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. The memorial service will be available to view on our website Thursday afternoon. Larry passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at his home.
Larry was born on May 16, 1956 in Lawrence, KS, the son of Leon C. and Joan (Swisher) Stevenson.
Larry was a mechanic, he had a love for hunting, fishing and loved music especially guitars. He always enjoyed riding motorcycles.
He married Diana Lee Mullan on November 17, 1979 in Lawrence. She preceded him in death on January 16, 2011.
He is survived by his mother, Joan Stevenson; two sons, Landon N. Stevenson, and Larsen M. Stevenson; two sisters, Jane Craig and Jean Affalter; three grandchildren, Lance Stevenson, Hymalee Stevenson and Lex Stevenson; his girlfriend, Janice McCowan.
He was also preceded in death by his father, Leon, sister, Joyce and son, Leith Jon Stevenson on July 5, 2017.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Ozawkie American Legion Post #225 and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13 th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
