Laura Sue Gillihan

Graveside service for Laura Sue Gillihan, 71, Eudora, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2020 at Edgerton Cemetery, Edgerton, KS. Laura passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at LMH Health of natural causes.

Laura was born on July 23, 1948 in Sedalia, MO, the daughter of Jessie Warren and Ova Evelyn (Robinett) McLeod.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and the Fraternal Order of Police through Jimmie.

She worked for Hallmark and later King Radio.

She married Jimmie Lee Gillihan on February 23, 1968. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2005.

Survivors include her son, Brian Lee (Debbie) Gillihan; two grandchildren, Jacob Lee Gillihan, Jessica Lynn Gillihan; five great grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Laura (Kevin) Frye Hood; two brothers, John (Debbie) McLeod, Phil (Julianne) McLeod; sister, Alice (David) Justice; and nephews Ryan (Stevie) McLeod and Ken (Linda) Kistner. She was also preceded in death by her nephew, Jeffrey Kistner.

The family suggests memorials in her name to the American Diabetes Association and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
