Lila Deitrich

Mass of Christian Burial for Lila Belle Deitrich, 19 months, Lawrence, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Lawrence.  She died March 17, 2013 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

She was born on July 23, 2011 in Overland Park, KS, the daughter of Danyel Lee (McGaughey) and John Nolan Deitrich.

Survivors include her parents; grandparents, John William and Evie Deitrich, Deby and Steve McGaughey; aunt, Jennie Deitrich, and husband, Brandon Putnam; uncle, Tyrel McGaughey; great grandparents, Lila and Jay McGaughey, Tomi Graham, Phyllis and John Deitrich,  Santos Quirarte; and several loving great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and close friends.  She was preceded in death by great grandparents, Margaret Quirarte, Doris Belle, and Lawrence Graham.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Children’s Mercy Hospital – Neurological Center or Student Recreation and Wellness Center at Washburn University and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
