Linda Ellen Wells

Memorial visitation for Linda Ellen Wells will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Holcomb Recreation Center 2700 W. 27th St. Lawrence, KS. Inurnment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence. Linda died on August 9, 2025, at the Olathe Hospice House in Olathe, Kansas.

She was born April 15, 1947, in Topeka, KS the daughter of James Victor and Ruby (Anderson) Wells.

Linda worked for the University of Kansas in Food Service for over 30 years. She also worked at First Student for several years. She enjoyed interacting with all the students and her coworkers.

Linda cherished her family. She liked to travel, bake, and play bingo! Linda was very creative, she loved nothing more than making something special for someone else. Survivors include her sister, Vickie (Bob) Dingman, niece, Bonnie (Don) Bruns and son Gavin, Baldwin City, KS; nephew Jeff (Janel) Dingman and daughters Hali, Hana, and Holly, Fort Smith, AR.

Also missing her kind and generous spirit will be, aunts Arvilla Lee and Cleta Wells, cousins and friends, including those at Windsor, Vintage Park and Baldwin HealthCare and Rehab.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
