Lloyd Alan Shackelford

Graveside inurnment for Lloyd Alan Shackelford, 77, Lawrence, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Oak Hill Cemetery. He passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, KS.

Lloyd was born April 25, 1945, in Middletown, OH, the son of Lloyd and Doris (Ryan) Shackelford.

He married his wife of 52 years Wanda Hattabaugh in November of 1965. She preceded him in death on September 11, 2018.

Survivors include his children, Mark Shackelford, Stephen Shackelford, John (Sherrie) Shackelford, Samantha (Steve) Sanchez; grandchildren, Kevin, Aron, Ally, Haley, Ryan, Jordan, Erik, Zack, Shelby; great grandchildren, Cameron, Adrian, Kaya, Princeton, Ariella; and five siblings.

Lloyd was also preceded in death by his parents, mother, Doris, father, Lloyd, and stepfather, John Jensen.

The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to The American Heart Association and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
