Lloyd K. Hoskins

Lloyd K. Hoskins, 89 of Eudora passed away peacefully on April 7, 2018 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Lloyd was born on July 5, 1928 in Barnett, Missouri to Asbeth “Jack” Hoskins and Eula Bessie Griffin. He graduated from Versailles High School in Missouri in 1947. Lloyd married Leanna Gracy on June 15, 1955 in Versailles. He worked for the Postal service for 30 years. He was a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church in Wichita, Kansas.

Lloyd enjoyed caring for his lawn, music, and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Leanna; son, Mark (Julie) Hoskins; grandsons, Justin and Quentin; sister, Naomi (Gene) Deffenbaugh.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his son, Steve Hoskins.

He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in Lloyd’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association or the National Stroke Association and can be sent in the care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
