Funeral services for Louise Turner, 77, Topeka, KS will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Mustard Seed Church in Lawrence.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence, KS.  She died May 23, 2011 at Stormont Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka, KS.

Louise was born on March 25, 1934 in Vicksburg, MS, the daughter of Henry & Sceressa Wilson Turner.

She was a homemaker.

Louise was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Topeka.

Survivors include eight daughters, Ethel Wilbert of Hollandale, MS, Maggie Cosey of Dallas, TX, Sarah Neal of Lawrence, KS, Mary Hamilton, Dallas, TX, Christine Longmire, Fayetteville, NC, Gloria Bolden, Dallas, TX, Lola Vassar, Lawrence, KS, Cynthia Kratochvil, Topeka, KS; ten sons, Ted Turner, Topeka, KS, Nathaniel Richardson, Lawrence, KS, OC Turner, Lawrence, KS, Gloster Turner, Greenville, MS, Daniel Turner, Beaumont, TX, Solomon Turner, Topeka, KS, Gregory Turner, Lawrence, KS, Charles Turner, Topeka, KS, Christopher Turner, Lenexa, KS, Steven Turner, Lawrence, KS; two brothers, Aaron Turner, Lawrence, KS, Willie Turner, Hollandale, MS; two sisters, Eliza Wiseman, Memphis, TN, Bernice Davis, Hollandale, MS; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
