Mae Worth

Graveside service for Mae Luella Worth, 84, Lawrence will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lawrence. She died April 25, 2011 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born on November 11, 1926 in Larimore, North Dakota the daughter of Peter and Josephine Braaten.

Mae was a homemaker her entire life and her grandchildren and great grandchildren is what occupied her time.

Mae married Joseph "Joe" Worth on April 16, 1945 in Aberdeen, Washington. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1998.

Survivors include her sons, Ernest Worth, Apache Junction, Arizona, Joe Worth, Umatilla, Oregon, Edward Worth, Toledo, Washington. Her Daughters, Carol French, Lawrence, Kansas, Maryann Walters, Vancouver, Washington, Jeannie Dover, Nevada, Donna Gomez, Lawrence, Kansas. 27 Grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by several siblings.
