Private graveside interment for Margaret Caroline Lewis, 93, Lawrence, KS, will be held at the Lone Elm Cemetery in Lone Elm, KS. She died on Tuesday, March 08, 2011 at Brandon Woods at Alvamar.
Ms. Lewis was born on July 12, 1917 in Vail, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph & Emma Turner Patrick.
She had lived in Lawrence since 2000, after moving here from Manhattan, KS.
She was a longtime seamstress.
Ms. Lewis was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Iola, KS.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Herschel D. Lewis and wife Donna, of Lawrence, KS, a sister, Helen Perkins, of Moran, KS and two grandsons, Patrick Lewis and Jarod Lewis.
