Graveside services for Margaret Lynn Bryant, 74, Kansas City, KS will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Eudora Cemetery. She died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in Louisburg, Kansas.
She was born on June 11, 1941 the daughter of D.L. and Juna Pearl (Hulsey) Arnold.
She was a world-renowned china painter with paintings in multiple countries. Margaret was a china painting instructor for the Johnson County Parks and Recreation Department for 17 years.
She married Calvin Laverne Bryant on May 17, 1974 in Kansas City, KS. He preceded her in death April 18, 2014.
Survivors include four sons, Tom Bryant, Ottawa, Jerry Bryant, Lawrence, Joey Turnbull, Roeland Park, KS, Tony L. Turnbull, Kansas City, KS; 22 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and two sisters, Dorothy Witham, Kansas City, KS, Mary Jimeson, Kansas City, North, MO. She was also preceded in death by one son, Ellis Bryant on April 2, 1977; and one brother, David Arnold in 1989.
The family will greet friends 7-9 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel in Eudora.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the ALS Foundation or Good Shepherd Hospice and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
