A private family graveside service will be held for Marilyn Sue (Northington) Wilson, Friday, December 2nd 2022, at Eudora Cemetery. The family will welcome friends and family at Marilyn’s home: 115 W 15th Street, Eudora, KS from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022. Marilyn passed peacefully in her home on Saturday, November 26th, 2022.

Marilyn was born on March 9, 1942 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Edward D. and Mary B. (Brandmeyer) Northington.

She had worked at Hercules, Howard’s Super Saver, and Eudora High School until she retired in May of 1999.

She was a member of the Eudora United Methodist Church.

Marilyn married James E. Wilson on July 10, 1960 in Kansas City, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her granddaughter, Kimberly, and her brother, Edward D. Northington. Survivors include her two daughters, Lynn Wilson-Bruce, Lori (Terry) Coffman; six grandchildren, Tim (Ami) Bruce, Andy Coffman, Jimmy “Jim” Bruce, Ashley (Coffman) Markley, Lora Bruce, Michael (Emma Lyne) Bruce; and five great grandchildren; Raelynn and Ryder Markley, Preston, Porter, and Piper Bruce.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn’s name to the Lawrence Humane Society or Eudora Parks & Recreation and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13 th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
